Philosophy attempts to find the ultimate cause say for example: How things (living organism as well as non living) in this world came into existence? which is the cause? what is the nature of the cause? We believe that human beings are composed of spirit and matter. some focus on the spiritual aspect of man and the others look into the material part. We either able to accept totally the concept spirit or to reject it, because there are certain mysteries or acts for which there is no clear explanation say for ex. death, life after death, the way our nervous system functions, etc., etc., all these paved way for human beings to think in different directions that formed the basis for the birth of different philosophies.
Different philosophies came into existence in different parts of the world in the course of human civilisation. One among them is Indian Philosophy which is some what unique in its character when compared to the philosophies of the part of the world.
Indian philosophies try to develop an attitude of contentment. It speak much about the sufferings in life, focusing much on the duties and moral of the human being. It begins in pessimism and ends in optimism.
